Gardeners are required, under the general direction of the Parks Foreperson and Leisure Facilities Officer, to undertake duties to maintain and supervise all Sport and Leisure parks, sports facilities and amenity areas. These areas include Clickimin pitches, Gilbertson Park and Pavilion, Jubilee Flower Park and Pavilion, Hillhead Green Houses, the Knab Golf Course and various general amenity areas throughout Lerwick.

With minimal direct supervision Gardeners are required to ensure that a high quality, customer focused service is delivered to all users of these facilities.

Facilities are open seven days a week so lone working will be required in this post.   Gardeners may also be required to work additional hours on occasion and especially during the busy summer period.
