What is the role?
The Co-Ordinator (ICT Applications) is a key position within the ICT Operations Team and is responsible for the supply and management of business ICT systems and applications to South Ayrshire Council.
The post holder ensures the portfolio of business systems and applications are delivered to a high quality, resilient and compliant standard to both internal and external users and ensures that operational processes are in place to meet agreed levels of service.
Responsible for managing the staff group who support and maintain the application portfolio estate, including both internally hosted and cloud delivered business systems/platforms. The function covers coordination of escalated Business-As-Usual support requirements and supply of technical resources for project work.
Some of the major projects which will be coordinated/progressed in the short term, have recurring themes including the increasing adoption of cloud-based services with phased migration of services from our on-site production data centres and legislative and regulatory compliance activities. The post will include elements of both home and office working.

The Grade of this post is Grade 4 / Level 13; the hourly rate is from £26.02 to £27.63 and the annual salary is from £47,486 to £50,425.
