What is the role?
To support the Senior Manager -Planning and Performance in the drafting and implementation of the HSCP Strategic Plan.
The post holder will support the Senior Manager - Planning and Performance in setting the strategic and policy direction, including establishing appropriate structures and processes to enable the delivery of planning ambitions.
He/she will have responsibility for drafting and developing service plans in relation to key areas of HSCP service delivery. This has potential to include both social work and health services.
Have a key role in the development of Joint Strategic Commissioning across the HSCP.
Support operational managers with service and team planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, performance standards, policies/procedures and corporate governance in line with the values of each organisation.
Review and make recommendations for the HSCP response to national policy changes and development.
Play a lead role in promoting service improvement at a Directorate and Service level and contribute to Council wide improvement initiatives.
Assist with the implementation of Service redesign projects in conjunction with the Director and Heads of Service for the HSCP by providing advice based on the utilisation of the most appropriate planning and performance tools which may require adaptation to reflect an integrated approach to service delivery.

The Grade of this post is Grade 4 / Level 13, the hourly rate is from £25.01 to £26.56 and the annual salary is £45,643 to £48,472.
