Job Description

What is the role?

The Inclusion, Learning and Teaching team is a peripatetic service supporting all learners from 3-18.  We seek to appoint a highly motivated, inclusive and dynamic practitioner with an excellent track record in supporting children’s learning.  The successful candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of literacy and numeracy interventions and also have experience of supporting pupils  with additional support needs. 

You must be a committed, passionate and experienced teacher who can support pupils and staff to ensure the needs of children and young people are met.

The Grade of this post is Teacher (Maingrade) and the annual salary is from £32,994 to £41,412. 


This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
