South Lanarkshire Council administers the recruitment process on behalf of SEEMiS Group LLP.
SEEMiS Group is a unique software development organisation, owned and managed by all 32 Scottish Local Authorities delivering a national Education Management Information System (MIS). As such all 32 Local Authorities student data is processed and managed by SEEMIS.
Working closely with its members and strategic bodies responsible for the direction of Education in Scotland, the organisation is charged with developing and continually improving its products and services to support Local Authorities and associated schools to deliver statutory and discretionary responsibilities.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Helpdesk/Acceptance Into Service Administrator to supplement our current team. You should come with a working knowledge of SEEMiS applications and have an understanding of the important service we provide.
You will provide frontline 1st level support for all SEEMIS applications to our end users in schools and Local Authorities. You will also be involved in contributing to the acceptance into service testing/review process for system enhancements/additions to our portfolio.
Knowledge and experience of the SEEMIS MIS system and/or the Education sector is essential.
As part of our approach to good practice and safer recruitment we carry out a number of pre-employment checks for example, Identity, Asylum and Immigration and employment history etc.
As this post involves accessing the public services network, the preferred candidate will be subject to the Baseline Personnel Security Standards (BPSS). The preferred candidate will be subject to a Basic Disclosure provided by Disclosure Scotland prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
