A challenging role has arisen which requires a self motivated individual, with strong organisational skills, to provide a first class clerical support service to officers within our Estates Team and Business Centre Tenants.
You will undertake a wide range of clerical duties in accordance with predetermined procedures, working to targets and deadlines. You will be involved in dealing with complex enquiries from internal and external customers. It is essential therefore, that you possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to the principles of customer care.
You will be required to demonstrate excellent IT skills including, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. You will also be required to demonstrate previous experience of maintenance, development and interrogation of database systems for use in the production of corporate standard documents.
This role demands you work in a highly professional manner, exercising confidentiality and discretion at all times and that you are able to respond effectively to changing priorities. The post holder will be required on occasion to provide clerical cover at a business centre and therefore should be comfortable lone working.

As this post involves accessing the public services network, the preferred candidate will be subject to the Baseline Personnel Security Standards (BPSS). The preferred candidate will be subject to a Basic Disclosure provided by Disclosure Scotland prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
