We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual to join Roads and Transportation as an Engineering Officer within the Operations section of the Clydesdale Area Office which is based in South Vennel, Lanark. You will join a team who are engaged in a diverse range of road maintenance and operational activities.
You must have a broad experience of Civil Engineering works and contracting in a road maintenance environment in particular and be able to demonstrate a good in-depth working knowledge.
This post in the Area Office requires a broad experience and knowledge of roads contracting and the ability to proactively manage a challenging workload whilst meeting tight timescales and budgets. You must be computer literate, have an up to date knowledge of health and safety and have the ability to travel throughout South Lanarkshire. You will require to participate in emergency rotas as required.
