If you are interested in working with people, helping them to enjoy a better quality of life, then the Social Care Apprenticeship Programme could be for you.

Social Work Resources are looking to recruit people to work in our Social Care Units for Older People. The apprentices will work alongside experienced staff and will receive regular training. Apprentices will be contracted for 24 months and work towards SVQ in Social Services & Heath Care Level 2 or Level 3.

Apprentices will be eligible to apply for posts within Social Work resources during their training to secure a career in the wider Social Work Service.

Entry requirements:

No age restrictions (16+)

This vacancy is restricted to applicants who have recently attended a South Lanarkshire Council School and/or live in the South Lanarkshire area.

Experience of working with people, through youth or voluntary work is desirable

Candidates should be able to detail any gaps in employment and provide a foreign police check where applicable for any periods living or working abroad.
