We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as part of a team who will provide an emergency response service to vulnerable people living in the community Council wide. The service uses assistive technology to support people living at home, and you should have an interest and understanding of technology and its use in relation to living at home. The role involves programming and installing community alarm equipment; and responding to calls and dealing with intimate personal care tasks.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the Organisation.
Hours available – part time
You will be required to work in accordance with a roster which includes days, evenings, weekends and/or nightshift, and will be required to work a shift pattern. Additional increments for working unsocial hours will also apply.
South Lanarkshire Council will provide and fund all required training including induction and ongoing learning and development. However you must have SVQ Level 2 in Social Care, or equivalent, to meet registration requirement of the post. You will also be provided with your work uniform and personal protective equipment, which includes an electronic hand held device (mobile telephone) which you will use to undertake the role safely and effectively.
