Job Description

Location: Hamilton & East Kilbride

South Lanarkshire Council is one of the largest and most progressive local authorities in Scotland. 

Housing Services deliver a range of quality services to 25, 000 tenants within the South Lanarkshire area. Our local housing teams provide services directly and in partnership with others, including housing management and estate related functions; access to housing and housing options advice; homelessness and housing support; allocations and void management; preventing and tackling anti social behaviour; rent arrears collection and management. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing Services for a Housing Services Manager to lead a multi-disciplined team in a dynamic environment and you will be committed to constantly improving services to meet challenging targets and obtain best value for our customers.  Following the pandemic there has been a real opportunity for transformational change and developing and improving our services accordingly.

You will be a self motivated and confident professional with a proven track record in delivering results. You will be required to demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of housing and homelessness policy and practice and you will preferably be qualified to Housing Diploma Level.
