Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personnel Officer within South Lanarkshire Council, Finance & Corporate Resources.

You will be part of a busy personnel service, working across a number of areas including employee relations, pay & conditions, job evaluation, and recruitment.

We are therefore looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who is able to make an immediate and positive impact. You will have excellent planning and organisational skills together with good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office packages, and the ability to handle multiple systems and data analysis.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a personnel department, supporting managers in a wide range of HR activities and be able to demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Applications from Graduates with CIPD qualification are welcome.

Full Training and Support will be provided to the successful candidate

CIPD qualification is desirable
