Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to work in the Council’s Finance Strategy team.
This person would lead a team of finance professionals and officers in supporting the financial management of the councils service budgets. As well as periodic and year end management and financial accounting responsibilities, you will plan a key role in the supporting and advising council departments on financial matters, including transformation opportunities.
This is a key post and one that would suit an experienced qualified accountant looking for a managerial role in a centralised Finance Service.
Applicants should be a qualified accountant preferably with experience in local government and knowledge of Local Authority Accounting.
