Location:  Blantyre Leisure Centre, Glasgow Road, Blantyre

Number of Posts: 1

Hours: 16.25 hours, Monday - Friday, 6.00pm - 9.15pm

Duration:    Fixed term until 16th March 2023

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Receptionist to work at Blantyre Leisure Centre.

The successful candidates will deal with customer enquiries, cash handling, issuing of receipts and preparing money for banking as well as operating our electronic booking system.

Previous experience of working in a customer orientated environment is desirable and/or experience of operating a computerised till system although full training will be provided.

You must have excellent communication and customer care skills.

Responsibilities

To promote SLLC membership options to all existing and potential members.

To act as first point of contact and ensure access to SLLC facilities is controlled and that customers, colleagues and stakeholders are dealt with effectively.

To be responsible for till and reconciliation of monies in line with Trust procedures and guidelines.

To perform clerical duties including filing, faxing, copying and mail distribution

To undertake the operation of electronic booking/till system.
