Job Description

Locations:

Ballerup Hall, Civic Centre, Andrew Street, East Kilbride, 15 hours (2 posts)

Murray Owen Centre, Liddell Grove, Murray, East Kilbride, 15 hours (1 post, Peripatetic)

Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7 including evenings and weekends - dependant on needs of business

Duration: Permanent

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Hallkeepers to work in our halls in East Kilbride. The successful applicants will be responsible for the security of the building, setting up and dismantling equipment as required as well as ensuring a good standard of cleanliness throughout. You will also be required to process related paperwork as well as liaising with internal and external customers ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.

Please note: You will be required to work in other locations within the East Kilbride area if necessary.

Responsibilities

Clearing and cleaning within the parameters of the building grounds in accordance with the litter policy

Undertake minor reactive repairs in line with procedures and notify line manager of any concerns regarding contractors’ activities

Undertake completion of appropriate records and paperwork in accordance with policies and procedures

Advising lessees of their responsibilities regarding lets and advising line managers of any concerns, complying with all aspects of the Health and Safety Management system

Liaising with internal and external customers in line with the policy, for Community managed halls, also liaising with management committees

Undertake reception duties, as required
