An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time, 0.6 fte temporary outreach teacher with specific skills in and knowledge of supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This post is based in Stirling Council's ASN Outreach Service. ASN Outreach Service are a team of peripatetic teachers working with children and young people aged 0-18.
The role of the ASD Outreach Teacher involves providing consultation, advice, assessment and support for children, young people, families and professionals in primary and secondary schools to ensure that all children and young people are appropriately supported to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be based at Raploch Community Campus in Stirling and will travel to allocated primary and secondary schools within the Stirling Council area on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be invited to come in to complete the form and have your details verified.
