The Council recognises that Covid 19 has had a significant economic, social and health impact on Stirling’s citizens, communities and businesses, which will require an intensive focus of resources to support recovery from. Supporting communities to build their confidence and capacity to deliver projects and initiatives will be vital to achieving sustainable and inclusive recovery from the pandemic.
The Community Development Officer (Covid Recovery) will play a critical role in delivering on the Council’s covid recovery plan. The Community Development Officer will engage with individuals, community organizations and businesses to build positive relationships, identify need and support the development of opportunities and interventions. The focus will be on the non-priority areas of Stirling Council, both rural and urban.
The post holder will be a key link between these communities, Stirling Council and our Community Planning Partners to ensure that all strategies and action plans relating to achieving positive outcomes for communities are translated into meaningful and tangible outcomes, particularly those who have been impacted most by Covid19.
