Job Description

An exciting vacancy has risen within Stirling Council for the post of Energy Monitoring Officer through ERDF funding. This opportunity will involve working to implement a SMART Data System that will allow the Council to gather meaningful information on energy demand and consumption within the area to enable better, informed decision making. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include developing monitoring systems and then monitoring, analysing and mapping this energy consumption data for the Stirling Council area. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field and will have experience of operating data platforms, systems and spatial mapping software. You will be able to demonstrate that you have experience in analysing and collating complex data and effectively communicating that to others; you will also be an excellent communicator with good written and oral skills; and able to work well with colleagues. A full driver's licence is essential for this role.
