Applications are invited for the post of Principal Teacher of Autism 1fte at St Modan’s High School, Stirling. The successful candidate will lead and manage the Autism Provision and support young people with ASD, developing their curriculum and taking responsibility for child plans. He/She will also support the young people with ASD in mainstream school where appropriate. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, flexible, forward-thinking, excellent teacher with good ideas and innovative approaches to supporting learning and teaching. He/she will contribute to whole-school development far beyond Autism. St Modan’s is a state of the art, modern facility only 40 minutes from Glasgow or Edinburgh, serving pupils of 3 Local Authorities. In the most recent HMIE inspection St Modan’s was awarded Excellent in 2 categories and Very Good for all others.
