Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Stirling Council as a Research and Engagement Officer. This new role will help to identify, support and implement service improvements in a time of transformational change for the organisation. The successful candidate will develop the Council’s research strategy, informing the design of operational activity aligned to our corporate priorities, and contributing to the development of thematic strategies and policies. The role will also play a key part in supporting the development of the Council’s people and practice, helping to build our capacity and capability for undertaking research, and developing policies, ensuring that Stirling Council is supported in making evidence-based decisions, in what will be a challenging time for local government finances. If you are committed to improving public services for service users and communities, and can build strong working relationships with elected members, and other key internal and external stakeholders, we would love to hear from you. Enquiries about this role can be made to Kate Hudson, Head of People and Community Wellbeing. (hudsonk@stirling.gov.uk)
