Job Description

This is a new post, part of a new vision to transform Children's Services. This is a fantastic opportunity for the transformation of our services to children. You will develop our residential care for children, further develop our fostering and adoption service, expand our support to care experienced young people and develop local services for children with assisted support needs. Working closely with education colleagues, we aim to close the attainment gap, enable our young people to move onto positive destinations and improve outcomes for our looked after children. Stirling is an ambitious Council and wants to take advantage of the area's unrivalled location and rapid growth to provide opportunities and services for all its citizens, and to encourage sustainable business development.

You will join the Senior Manager and Children and Families Team to implement the actions in the Children and Families Service Plan 2017 - 2018. You will be a highly effective communicator and team player, a strategic thinker, an experienced manager, and you will have consistently achieved. You will use your record of success to champion and embed opportunities for all children, young people and care leavers, within Council and partnership systems and arrangements.
