We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled solicitor to join the legal team specialising in providing legal advice to client services supporting the Council’s communities and young people.
The successful candidates will have 1+ year PQE and will have responsibility for delivering high quality and solution-focused legal advice and support on a wide range of litigation and local government matters, including legal support for matters relating to children, education, housing, anti-social behaviour, employment, adult social work and health and social care integration. The successful candidate will be required to represent the Council in court/ tribunal on a variety of matters. The candidate will assist the Lead Solicitor – Communities & Young People on a variety of matters relating to legal support and governance within the Council.
