An exciting opportunity to support children, families, and schools in raising attainment and achievement.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated practitioner who wishes to undertake the challenge of working within additional support needs (SEBN) with a commitment to the inclusion agenda and the ability to manage developmental change.
We require a flexible, forward thinking person who is committed to ensuring the highest quality of support for the children within their settings. The Support for Learning Assistant can work across all aspects of the service.
This position would enable support for a range of current vulnerable children in positively reengaging with education using highly personalised timetables. The children require significant modification to their educational timetables as part of their offsite placements and are currently building skills to work with a group of peers.
Stirling Council is committed to ensuring the safety of vulnerable people and our recruitment process is designed to support this. The preferred candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
