To contribute to the delivery of a high quality customer focused 1st Line Support Service as part of the ICT Team. To ensure all customers’ requests, incidents and problems are logged and progressed swiftly in such a way as to deliver a robust reliable and cost effective ICT service which meets customers’ needs and expectations as agreed in Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators where applicable. Working flexibly from home and also onsite at all Council locations (including Schools), 1st Line Support Analyst is required to provide call handling, operational and technical ICT Support to WDC and partners. To target the industry standard of incidents and standard changes resolved within agreed time frame. To reduce the volume of incidents and standard changes passed to 2nd Line Support in line with annual decreasing target for individuals and teams.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
