Job Description

Please note this is a fixed term opportunity until 30/06/2024.

West Dunbartonshire is undergoing considerable transformational change with significant investment in the local area. High quality private and affordable housing, new schools, health care and major infrastructure projects are being developed in the local area. High quality development is being constructed at Queens Quay Clydebank, one of the most significant regeneration projects in West Central Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an award winning and forward thinking service, joining a dynamic and fast pace Development Management team.

You should be educated to degree level in planning or relevant built environment subject and have RTPI membership. The post holder principally will assist in taking forward the major transformational development - the Council's City Deal Project at the Exxon site, Carless site, Queens Quay and other waterfront sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in some of the biggest regeneration projects in Scotland whereby place based approaches are the heart of our decisions. This opportunity may suit a person who likes a challenge and wants to work flexibly.
