West Dunbartonshire Council is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Server Analyst to join the ICT Server Team. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we are moving to new offices and relocating our Data Centre 

The post holder will be required to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Council’s service delivery through the strategic development of server systems and the underpinning server based technologies.

West Dunbartonshire Council is investing in its office accommodation to improve the working environment of staff and enhance the service provided to residents. This post has been identified as one which may move from its current location (Bridge Street, Dumbarton) to one of the new office sites (Aurora House, Clydebank/New Dumbarton Office, Church Street, Dumbarton) within the next 3‐6 months. Applicants are asked to note the current location and the possible new location for this post.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities
