Whitdale Primary School and Early Learning Centre is a non-denominational school with a roll of 367  pupils in the primary school and 106 pupils in the nursery. The school is staffed by a skilled and motivated team of teaching andnon-teaching staff, working together to support and challenge learners across the school. 

This Administrative Assistant role will deliver administrative support within Whitdale Primary School.  The successful candidate will carry out financial and administrative operations, following West Lothian Council policies and procedures, in order to ensure the effective day to day running of the school and working closely in partnership with staff, parents and learners.

You must have experience of working within an office environment and have good IT skills.  Experience of Seemis andthe ability to use Word and Excel to an advanced level would be desirable. You should be able to work as part of a team and enjoy a variety of tasks within your remit. 

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
