West Lothian Council Adult Learning Team is looking to recruit a full-time tutor to deliver and evaluate a range of adult learning programmes with targeted groups. The role will involve development of a range of classes that will support improving adult learners’ literacies skills, with a specific focus on the development of numeracy.
The role includes:
- Developing and delivering a range of adult learning opportunities based on a social practices model
- Developing positive partnership working across a range of agencies
- Setting, measuring and evaluating relevant outcomes for learners
- Completing administration and contributing to quality assurance processes
- Gathering evidence as required for reporting progress and outcomes on the UK Shared Prosperity Fund MULTIPLY programme.
Applicants should have experience of developing, delivering and teaching adult literacy and numeracy, and a relevant teaching qualification is required.
