An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to provide advice and support to line managers on a range of employee relation matters in accordance with the Council’s policies and procedures.  The post is initially available until 31 March 2023.

In order to be considered for this role, the candidate should have an HR generalist background within a unionised organisation, be a graduate member of the CIPD or possess an equivalent HR Management qualification, and have working knowledge of employee relations policies and current employment law. 

In addition, candidates should have a highly developed influencing and analytical skills with strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will have autonomy to manage their own diaries and casework with minimum supervision.
