This post is critical for the ongoing development of excellent, cost effective IT service delivery, allowing us to respond quickly and adapt to meeting every-increasing council demands.
The IT Service Centre is a primary point of contact for IT and provides front line service delivery for customers in the council. This role also provides support of the end-to end service delivery for customers.
The IT Structure is based on ITILv3 and you must have an understanding of good practice. Excellent customer services and customer focus skills with a well-developed ability in problem solving with innovative and practical solutions are essential to deliver the high standard of customer care our customers expect.
This post holder will provide technical support services to customers involving advice and the first line resolution of Incidents and requests across all technical platforms that support the delivery of council service.
The ability to multi-task and perform within an environment which experiences a high demand by call and emails during time critical activities is a must.
