Due to a recent reorganisation of the department several new and exciting opportunities have become available.

We now seek to appoint an experienced Audio Visual Specialist.

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the University’s AV infrastructure, responding to system events and escalated incidents.

You will have significant experience of working in an enterprise environment supporting and developing a wide range AV equipment. You will be an AV subject matter expert assisting in the technical development of specialist AV technologies, liaising with vendors and colleagues as required, to meet University business needs.

You will support the team, through training and mentoring, to help improve their AV expertise and troubleshooting skills. Carrying out AV induction and refresher sessions you will ensure that staff can make best use of the AV technologies available in teaching spaces.

The post holder will have excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills and be able to work under pressure. Expected to respond to colleagues, students and stakeholders needs with the intention to provide an excellent service and able to work methodically, prioritising and managing tasks.
