Edinburgh College is looking to recruit suitable candidates for the position of Educational Support Worker.
Our Access & Continuing Education Team (ACE) delivers a range of courses to students with Additional Support Needs, from SCQF Levels 1 to 5. The Educational Support Worker provides support to students, to help them understand and participate in classroom activities.
You will have NC/SVQ level 2 (SCQF level 5) in Health & Social Care, or equivalent and relevant experience, preferably in the education sector. Working with young people and adults with barriers to learning including disabilities, person-centred working with excellent interpersonal, communication and numeric skills are also essential.
