Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to take up the exciting post of Lecturer in Access and Continuing Education. The ACE team deliver a range of courses from SCQF levels 1 to 5 to students with additional support needs and barriers to learning.
Applicants must be educated to degree level or equivalent and must have a significant amount of experience of teaching and engaging people with additional support needs and school groups. You will have experience of development materials and knowledge of internal verification procedures.
You must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate on a range of levels and must have experience of managing challenging behaviour in a classroom setting and engage students with their learning.
Please note that the successful candidate may be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus.
