Job Title: Leisure and Accommodation Assistant x 2 posts

Hours: Post A: Full-time 35 Hours per week and Post B: Part-time 22.5 Hours per week

The Club is Edinburgh College’s luxury Gym and Spa based at our Milton Road Campus. At present we are looking to add to our fantastic team. We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated person. As a Club host you will help our members achieve their goals by ensuring we operate our facility to the highest standards of service, comfort and safety. You will also help to ensure that even if it is 6.00am or after a 45-minute Metafit class that our members have a smile when they see you.

The post-holder’s duties include:

  • Interacting and communicating effectively with customers and staff at all levels
  • Delivering a high level of customer service at all times to ensure a consistently exceptional customer experience
  • Managing customer feedback effectively
  • Providing lifeguard cover
  • Promoting and selling memberships and other activities taking place in the Club
  • Ensuring a healthy and safe environment at all times (this will include First Aid cover)
  • Cleaning and maintaining the equipment and facility as required
  • Being responsible for secure daily handling of monies and goods received
