Location - You will be employed initially at Edinburgh College: Sighthill Campus, but you may be required to serve at other work places and to travel during the course of your employment.
Role/Subject Specific Information
We are looking for a talented Student Experience Manager to support the operation of the Edinburgh College Access Centre and to support Assistive technologies and Access and Inclusion within Edinburgh College.
What you will offer us
Edinburgh College Access Centre provides needs assessments for disabled students from Edinburgh College as well as a range of other colleges and universities across Scotland. The Edinburgh College Access Centre provides specialist expertise for students with a range of disabilities and complex needs
Main tasks will be to manage the Access Centre and the team of needs assessors to ensure that students can access the funding and supports they require to engage in their studies in FE and HE and appropriate systems are in place to support with this.
Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline you will be a competent manager and be able to demonstrate excellent written,oral and interpersonal communication skills.
You should have experience of working in the FE or HE sector and of managing external stakeholder relationships. Experience of the use of Assistive Technologies is essential.
