Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to take up the post of Workplace Assessor in Highways to co-ordinate and assess the Modern Apprenticeship programs within the curriculum area.

This role involves providing support to both apprentices and employers throughout their course of study, as well accurately assessing apprentices work to ensure it meets the awarding body standards. The role also involves liaising with potential new employers to promote the colleges apprenticeship program.

You should be educated to SVQ 2 in Highways or a relevant qualification along with industry experience.

Assessor’s and verifiers qualification would also be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
