Quality and Academic Partnerships

We are looking to appoint a Co-ordinator who will support the Head of Developing Young Workforce (DYW) Partnerships to ensure the Fife College, School College Partnership programmes are effective and of a high quality by co-ordinating the promotion, delivery, monitoring and review of the range of programmes offered by the college faculties and partners.

The role will also ensure an effective and comprehensive support service for the young person prior to, whilst studying and on exit of their School College Partnership (SCP) or partnership programme.

The DYW team work in partnership with organisations such as Fife Council, Children’s University, Lift Off and curriculum faculties to support our school pupils to gain skills and qualifications that lead on to successful pathways of learning.

In partnership with University of St Andrews, partners and Fife Council Education team, Fife College co-deliver the widening access First Chances Fife programme to Fife schools. First Chances Fife is a programme that aims to raise the aspirations and achievements of pupils as they progress through their education. The programme works with school pupils from P7 to S6 and continues to support them into further and higher education. This project is an integral part of the role.

In this role you will take the lead responsibility and day to day co-ordination of the First Chances Fife programme working closely with our partners. In addition, you will provide a professional, highly visible, accessible and responsive welfare service to all SCP learners on the programme.

You must be educated to minimum of, or be working towards HND or equivalent (SCQF Level 8) in a relevant subject.

You will have experience in an education setting as well as experience of planning and co-ordinating project. You will also have experience of programme evaluation linked to action planning to inform improvement.
