As Head of Projects you will coordinate people and processes to ensure that college and faculty related projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organisation and timeline.

The post holder will also manage faculty managers and staff engaged in delivering these projects and will also hold management and development responsibility for the science faculty area.

You will predominately lead on the development and delivery of pilot project activities and ensure that Fife College and the faculty are represented at internal and external stakeholder meetings where project briefs are being formulated.

Supporting the Director of Faculty to ensure the coordination, delivery and synergy between internal and external stakeholders are met. You will ensure all projects are adequately resourced and progressed effectively and efficiently. You will have responsibility for day to day project management duties in respect of on-going projects and/or new project proposals.

You must be qualified to Degree Level or equivalent qualification together with a teaching qualification. A Management or Project Management qualification would be desirable.

With the knowledge and experience of managing multiple projects you should have a proven track record of working with a range of partners to develop and deliver project briefs and outcomes.

With an in-depth knowledge of the Scottish College sector and an understanding of qualifications across a broad curriculum area you will have experience of innovation and development of successful methodologies in support and success in delivery of collaborative projects, effective application of national quality standards, budget management, curriculum design and planning.
