Following on from a significant Transformational Change project within the Organisational Development and Human Resources department, we are looking to recruit a Health and Wellbeing Partner to join our forward thinking team.

You will be joining the OD and HR Team at a hugely exiting time of change, we have introduced a new platform which has changed the way in which we communicate with staff, we are also at the forefront of leading the way in what the new ‘normal’ way of working will look like. The Health and Wellbeing Partner will play a pivotal role in promoting new ways of working and ensuring our colleagues are healthy and well regardless of where and when they work.

You will lead on the delivery of the College’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy as it relates to our colleagues, to build on existing practice and lead on the development and implementation of a health and wellbeing programme for colleagues across the College. Targeting key issues by using a range of data to inform priorities, you will increase the emphasis on health promotion and prevention, and track the impact that this has on colleague health, wellbeing and engagement.

Having proven experience of being able to identify, develop and lead on programmes of inclusive activities, workshops, and events, you will actively promote mental resilience, positive mental and physical health, and wellbeing of all colleagues across the organisation.

You will also ensure that our strategy is current and up to date with new developments, and that we have an effective communication strategy in place. Leading on the scoping, design, delivery / commissioning and evaluation of mental and physical health and wellbeing events and activities for colleagues.

Educated to a minimum of HNC in a relevant subject and will hold or be working towards becoming an Associate member of the CIPD. You will have proven experience of keeping up-to-date with emerging trends and good practice in relation to supporting the physical and mental health and wellbeing of colleagues

With knowledge of employment law and best practice, you should be able to solve complex problems within tight timescales, manage a high workload with competing priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
