We are looking to recruit a talented, fresh-thinking and enthusiastic human resources professional to join our OD and HR team as we continue to embark our HR transformation to support the provision of a proactive, effective and solution based HR service to our customers.

You will be joining the OD and HR Team at a hugely exiting time of change, having adapted to working from home whilst implementing a new HR system, changing the way in which we communicate to staff and now being at the forefront of leading the way in what the new ‘normal’ way of working will look like.

You will provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective service to managers and staff across the Organisation by providing guidance and advice on all aspects of staff related matters. You will support the College’s implementation and continuation of workforce planning and support complex case management.

You will have proven experience of supervising staff and you will support the development of their skills and knowledge with coaching techniques and development reviews.

Educated to a minimum of HNC in a relevant subject and will hold or be working towards becoming an Associate member of the CIPD. You will have HR experience in a unionised environment. You will also have experience of case management, HR information systems and databases as well as supervisory experience. With knowledge of employment law and best practice, you should be able to solve complex problems within tight timescales, manage a high workload with competing priorities to ensure that deadlines are met and be able to delegate effectively and manage the performance of others.
