Post 1 - Permanent Sessional, working 36 weeks per year. 18 hours per week based at the Kirkcaldy Campus.
Post 2 - Temporary until 12 June 2020. 24 hours per week based at the Dunfermline Campus
In conjunction with the Lead Adviser, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key academic staff in order to facilitate effective support for students with additional support needs. Working with Lecturing staff, you will implement inclusive strategies which promote positive behaviour and minimise barriers to learning within all learning and teaching.
Educated to a minimum of SCQF level 7, you will have experience in a similar role providing support to students or a similar client group with additional support needs, preferably within an education or related environment.
With knowledge of safeguarding/student issues, you will have an understanding of the barriers to learning and inclusion and how these maybe overcome. You will have a positive attitude and proven record to equality and diversity practice within the sector.
With a commitment to promoting the welfare of all our learners, with ICT skills, you will have excellent organisational skills which will ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
