As part of the Hair; Beauty and Sport Department you will support students in the achievement of their learning goals through providing an appropriate, effective and engaging learning experience.

You will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the curricular area, assisting team members and the Curriculum Manager in recruiting students and evaluating learning and teaching. Support the achievement of the operational and strategic objectives set out in the College Regional Outcome Agreement.

You must be qualified to HND/Degree (SCQF Level 8 or 9), or, SVQ Level 4/5 in the relevant vocational area, or, hold the highest level qualification in the relevant discipline to the subject area being taught. You must have knowledge and experience of working with Industry standard Special effects/prosthetics products. In addition, you must have relevant current academic experience, or have demonstrable experience and practiced skills following vocational qualification.

Effective communication, organisation and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have the ability to inspire, encourage and motivate others together with the desire to make a real difference to our students.
