Permanent – 35 hours per week available – can be worked either part-time or full time.
The Prison Learning Centres deliver a varied programme of core skills, life skills and arts. You will support the effective delivery of, essential skills incorporating adult literacies, life skills and arts and crafts. Delivery of sessions will be discrete and/or project based.
You will be educated to HND/SVQ Level 4 or equivalent (SCQF Level 8) along with experience of either prison or learning industry environments. Communication skills, ICT Skills and flexibility are essential. The ability to engage and motivate learners is essential and an creative approach to session delivery using principles of Curriculum for Excellence is desirable.
The successful candidate will based at HMP Inverness, Duffy Drive, Inverness, IV2 3HH.
