Quality and Credit Rating Lead

Location: Glenrothes Campus (travel may be required within Fife)

35 hours per week

Temporary until 30 June 2024 (Secondment may be available)

In partnership with the Head of Quality and Evaluation, lead, develop and support effective quality assurance, evaluation, PI analysis and enhancement across College academic faculties and professional service areas.

You will take the lead role in developing the SCQF Partnership Third Party Credit Rating service to increase this income stream, provide expertise in the content of learning specifications aligned to SCQF levels and play a key role in the Approvals processes.

As part of your role you will maintain an up to date knowledge of developments in relation to quality assurance, evaluation, improvement and enhancement of learning and teaching and disseminate this to staff through a variety of platforms.

Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with SCQF, Education Scotland, external partners/stakeholders, awarding bodies and internal stakeholders is a key part of this role as well as co-ordinating audits, reviews and external verification including that of our third party credit rating partners.

Educated to degree or equivalent (SCQF Level 9) or HND (SCQF Level 8) with significant relevant experience in learning and teaching at both FE and HE levels. You must hold a relevant teaching qualification.

Experience of external partnership working and proven teaching experience within a College environment is essential as is experience of internal education review and evaluation processes.
