We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader 2 who will support the Area Manager by performing appropriate day to day management duties and the delivery of learning within the relevant prison, and deliver a quality learning and skills programme within the context of a prison environment.

You will be responsible for the efficient development, effective and equitable implementation of timetabling within the learning centre and ensure accurate reporting of Monthly Information Reports and other contractual data requirements.

You must be educated to a minimum of HND level (SCQF Level 8) in relevant area. In addition you must hold SQA units aligned to the National Occupational Standards for assessment, planning and internal verification, or be willing to work towards these SQA units.

Essential to this post will be previous teaching or training experience and knowledge of a range of awarding bodies such as REHIS, RoSPA, ASDAN, along with experience in project based learning. Appropriate knowledge of existing, emerging and assistive technologies to support and enhance the learner journey is essential.

The 21 hours will be worked over 4 days and working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate.
