We currently have a vacancy for a Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management within the Department of Management located within Glasgow School for Business and Society. The School is third in Scotland for overall student satisfaction for Business and Management (Chartered Association of Business Schools, 2022).  The Department delivers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the area of international business, social innovation, management, and operations/supply chain management, with programmes accredited by CMI, CIPS and CILT.

Applicants should either be qualified to doctoral level in the Operations and Supply Chain subject area, or hold a relevant Masters qualification and be nearing completion of their doctorate. In addition, applicants should also be able to demonstrate a commitment to the publication of research in their chosen field and have some relevant industry work experience, consultancy or engagement.  Additionally applicants are expected to have excellent written and spoken communication skills.

All applicants must complete the online application form detailing how they meet the essential and desirable requirement for the role.  A covering letter (1 page maximum) and a short CV (5 pages maximum) may also be included.

Please address any informal queries to: Dr Susan Ogden, Head of Department at S.Ogden@gcu.ac.uk.
