This is a full time/fixed term opportunity for 12 months based at GCU London and includes an

 additional London Weighting Payment of £4,334 per annum

GCU London is the postgraduate campus of Glasgow Caledonian University, based in the heart of London’s vibrant Spitalfields area. The post-holder will contribute to GCU London’s programmes through teaching, supervision and research in the area of Research Methods. The post-holder will have experience in learning, teaching and assessment in the HE sector. A Masters Degree / MRes is essential.

The post-holder will have experience of supporting and assessing students’ research at post-graduate level, including for example Masters supervision, Director of Studies, PhD or Prof Doc supervision. Current knowledge of the nature of Masters level provision in research methods in leading international Institutions and evidence of insight into current innovations and best practice in research methods are essential. Evidence of experience in developing and delivering asynchronous and synchronous hybrid teaching is essential. Evidence of engagement in research and scholarly activity as demonstrated by conference presentations and publication in academic journals is essential.

A PhD or Prof Doc and a post-graduate teaching qualification and/or Fellowship of Advance HE is desirable. Evidence of engaging with the Sustainable Development Goals and/or the Principles for Responsible Management Education is desirable.
