Finance provides high quality financial information, advice and support to members of the University in planning, controlling and monitoring financial performance, providing practical help in achieving the University goals.  Finance works to enable a successful and sustainable University by delivering, promoting and supporting effective financial management and information to staff, students and other stakeholders.

Applicants must be educated to HNC/HND in a related subject or have equivalent relevant experience. You will have sound knowledge and practical experience of finance systems, must be an excellent communicator, enthusiastic and have a pro-active approach.   You should demonstrate experience in planning, prioritising and organising work on an ongoing basis. The ability to ensure the effective use of resources and experience delivering to tight deadline is also required. 

You will be a key liaison with students, staff and external organisation ensuring a high quality student experience is delivered. Good analytical combined with good IT skills are essential requirements.  An understanding of and empathy with the aims and aspirations of the University is also required.

A background in invoicing and preparation, review of account reconciliations and good knowledge of the University administration would be beneficial.
