An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Treasury Team, Finance Department at Glasgow Caledonian University.
The Treasury team provides efficient and effective Financial administrative support to contribute to the smooth running of the Treasury Section.
Reporting to the Treasury Manager and working within a small team the successful individual will mainly focus on banking and cash management ensuring accurate and complete reconciliations are carried out in a timely manner. Central to this role will be reviewing and processing on a daily basis all banking transactions for the University and its subsidiaries.
You will have strong Finance/Treasury administrative and organisational skills, ideally gained within a Higher Education or Finance/Treasury environment. You will thrive in a busy and demanding environment that requires the ability to multi-task effectively, and will be confident and professional. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines, dealing with high volumes of Treasury transactions whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will also make a key contribution to the on-going Treasury team supporting the implementation of more efficient and effective working practices to support achievement of the University’s 2020 goals.
