GCEF funded 2 year fixed term post

Based at our Langside Campus and reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications and Head of Business Development this role is part of the onsite Marketing Department and Business Development Unit (BDU). The Marketing and Business Development Unit (BDU) have a responsibility for the delivery of initiatives which generate income for the College. The role will involve all aspects of communication, marketing, digital, events and campaigns which support income generation for the College, whilst consistently enhancing the brand and overall profitability of the College. The Digital and Marketing Officer will ensure the brand values and integrity are maintained in all executions to the highest standard with success demonstrated in the achievement of commercial income targets.

Successful candidates will possess minimum SCQF Level 8 e.g. HND Degree in Marketing, Communications, Consumer Studies or equivalent professional qualification. In addition, you will possess technical expertise in optimising the use of the College’s digital environment to support marketing and College objectives and have experience of working within a target driven market related to increasing sales and income. Developing innovative and enterprising initiatives for promoting products and services combined with high levels of IT literacy and digital skills, including experience of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is required.

This GCEF funded post is for a two year fixed term period however it may be extended for a further year.
