Foundation Apprenticeship Manager - Fixed Term

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will lead on the delivery of the Glasgow-wide Foundation Apprenticeship programme on behalf of Glasgow Kelvin College, Glasgow Clyde College and City of Glasgow College. You will develop, implement and integrate an innovative programme that will engage young people, their parents, schools and employers. Launched in 2016, this work based learning programme is aimed at pupils starting S5 across Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire and is a key component of regional and national Senior Phase and Developing the Young Workforce priorities. If you are an existing employee of Glasgow Kelvin, Glasgow Clyde or City of Glasgow College this may be considered as a secondment opportunity.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will have experience of managing complex change processes to integrate professional teams and organisations. You will have a sound understanding of business and of the key policy initiatives relating to the development of Scotland’s young workforce.

You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and proven management skills.
